Meet Our Team
These are the lovely people who make Looping the Loop happen
Ellie Jones
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
I believe in being playful and filling the world with moments of wonder. Play connects us to others and the world around us, it adds joy to life, relieves stress and supercharges learning - and that’s just in adults! As part of Looping the Loop, and in my career as a theatre director, I am lucky enough to be tasked with searching out playful ways to share stories and listen to others. This search has led to some of the best experiences in my life and I have no intention of stopping anytime soon. In the words of George Bernard Shaw. "We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing."
Suzy Humphries
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
I love being a part of Looping the Loop because it has brought the opportunity to work with tremendous people, in the team, the artists and the shows. I love that we are constantly doing new work, I love being able to turn up in unexpected places, to surprise and bring something new, entertaining, challenging or just plain silly! I love being part of our CTN network and getting together with people who share an utter belief in culture and the arts and how every person can gain by taking part – it is constantly inspiring.

Estelle Rosenfeld
PRODUCER
I am very excited to be working with Looping the Loop to foster creative collaborations in Thanet. I champion cooperation over competition: we are stronger together and strive by pulling each other up.
I believe that Creative Professional Development can go beyond up-skill and that a network can go beyond catching up. Let’s help each other, let’s create something bold together, let’s play.
Cemanthe McKenzie
GENERAL MANAGER
I've been behind the camera and in front of the camera since very small, and love getting lost in the imaginative world of performance. I'm a great believer that to play is to be free, and to help others find the joy in playfulness is one of life's great pursuits. Everything around us can be attributed to the arts industry after all! I love being behind the scenes and bringing you the news and views of the team through social media and the newsletter
