Imagine a place where young voices find their strength, where laughter and creativity spark confidence! In this wonderland, young stars of all abilities get to shine!

Bespoke Brilliance: Tailored programmes for every unique personality.

Through a kaleidoscope of fun exercises, games, and performances, at Thanet Youth Theatre, we craft a world where each young person discovers their unique spark. Find out more about our Youth Theatre …

Thanet Youth Theatre is open to everyone from absolute beginners to experienced young performers, offering a great way to make new friends and learn new skills.

Real World Wizards: Our Artist Leader is Brigitte Aphrodite, is ready to guide young minds through the enchanting world of theatre:

"I'm thrilled to join Looping the Loop’s new youth theatre and to share my passion for creative expression with the young people of Thanet," says Brigitte Aphrodite. "This project is a fantastic opportunity to empower young minds through performance and to create a sense of belonging and self-worth. I believe art, theatre and creating is for everyone. Every child and young person deserves to experience the transformative power of creativity. I can’t wait to start working with them."

No Pressure Performance: Find your groove without the stage fright! There is no expectation to perform in a big production.

Classes will work at the speed students need and will develop confidence by building ways for them to connect with Looping the Loop's professional artists and programme of street theatre, workshops and new productions. They are not expected to feel forced to perform in a big production, but we'll help them feel comfortable with themselves and new people. We will create bespoke ideas for the groups that take into account the different personalities and preferences of the group.

More than a Show: It's about growing, glowing, and enjoying life to the fullest!

To ensure everyone is able to take part, Looping the Loop also welcomes approaches from local families if you would find it difficult to afford class fees;  where possible, we will offer free participation to students on a term-by-term basis. Please just contact us in confidence via loopingthanet@gmail.com  if this applies to you.
